London Lines for Jaybird Live Literature was a participatory activity about London boroughs with a temporary installation of the city made from poetry postcards displayed in the Southbank Centre.
Members of the public were invited to leave their memories of London boroughs on Cabinet of Curiosity's illustrated cards for an installation that was assembled as a live installation within the ballroom space at the Southbank Centre. The cards were mounted onto maps of each London borough to create a city of memories that grew over the duration of the weekend-long activity. London-based poets then drew upon these written recollections to compose original poems for each borough. The poems were performed live at the end of the event and incorporated into the final installation.
